The Lashtar Marble takes a black color with white veins after the processing. This marble has a high hardness and in some cases it is produced without rubbing. The stones without rubbing process is dressed using an ax manually or mechanically. These stones are named Lashtar manually or mechanically dressed Marbles.
The reason of dressing with an ax is to increase the friction of Lashtar Marble’s surface while using this stone in an open space. The Lashtar Marble is useable in Hokmi (Longitudinal), Plaque, and other sizes in the projects. The Lashtar rubbed marble is being processed as slab marble in some factories because of its color (Black color).
The Lashtar Marble is supplied to the project contractors and builders in two forms of less dressed and more dressed. The less dressed Lashtar Marble is axed once and more dressed Lashtar Marble is axed several times to eliminate all of empty spaces on the stone surface.
